Hailing from Fernie, Mount Rushka celebrates the forefathers of Rock music with their original blend of 60s-90s era Rock with a sprinkle of Blues and Country to keep every song sounding fresh. If you like to dance, pound your fist into the air, and get immersed in heartfelt lyrics, you’ll love the Mount Rushka sound.
Mount Rushka has strong Kootenay roots dating back to 2004 when Will Ripley (guitar) and Aaron Wrench (drums) met at the Selkirk College Music Program in Nelson where they first collaborated musically.
On vocals, the power couple up front features Adam Laurin and Alanna Laurin (vocals/guitar and vocals/bass, respectively). These 2 powerhouses have been rocking the Elk Valley for over a decade in popular local bands like The Runs & Country Smokes.
Coining the term “Down right rock”, rock fans can rejoice and get uplifted by the powerful sound of Mount Rushka.
